Blossom on the Road of Dreams by Christopher Lentz

Happy September, I hope you all had a wonderful and fun filled Labor Day weekend.  School has either already started for some and the rest are going back this week. Labor Day weekend seems to close out the summer for us.  While it is a little sad to see the warm and long days of summer end, I love Fall and look forward to the season. To close out the summer, I read the 2nd book in the Blossom trilogy written by Christopher Lentz, Blossom on the Road of Dreams.  It was a light and easy read, the perfect ending

Mothers, Sons, Beloveds, and Other Strangers by Janie Dempsey Watts

Hi, How is your summer reading coming along?  I got an email the other day from Goodreads to let me know that I am behind on meeting my 2017 reading goal.  I haven’t done as much reading as I had planned this summer, too many other activities to distract me.  So when my paperback copy of Mothers, Sons, Beloveds and Other Strangers arrived from the author, it was perfect for my summer reading.  The book is filled with short stories and each one can be read over a cup of tea or coffee. Knowing your summer is busy too, I

Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick

Happy Tuesday!  I have been lazy lately and not getting much reading done.  Bee’ing a little sluggish on the book I am currently reading. I’m having trouble getting in to it, which is a surprise as it is written by an author I really enjoy. But I do want to share a book that I loved and our book club just finished. The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick is gem.  Once in awhile a book comes a long that you can’t put down and then it hangs in your memory long after you have finished the last page.

Blue by Danielle Steel

Good morning, If you are part of the Goodreads community and you set a goal for how many books you are going to read this year, how is it going?  If you aren’t a part of Goodreads, but set a personal goal, I hope you are doing well and reading some great books. Normally I’m so good to keep up with Danielle Steel books; and read them as soon as they are released.  Having gotten behind and now I am trying to catch up, but there are so many good books on my to read list, it’s hard to pick what’s

See Me by Nicholas Sparks

Happy Valentines Day!  I hope you all are having a special day. In honor of Valentines Day I was excited to share a new romance novel with you, but surprisingly See Me by Nicholas Sparks is more thriller than romance.  Nicholas Sparks books seem to grab me and not let me go until I finish the last sentence on the last page.  This book grabbed me from the first sentence of the first chapter and still hasn’t let go. The cover of the book shows a deserted beach in the background and 3 dead yellow roses laying in the sand, hmmm,

Property of a Noblewoman by Danielle Steel

Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas season and a Happy New Years celebration. Did you find time over the holidays to carve out some peaceful time to curl up with a good book? I hope so. Surprisingly, I did, looking for a fun read after a bit of a rough year and crazy holiday season.  I chose another Danielle Steel book off of my list of her books I haven’t read, getting a little behind.  Property of a Noblewoman was a great book and is one of my favorites.  A little different than her other

The Prodigal Son by Danielle Steel

I love Danielle Steel books, there I said it!  They are my guilty pleasure and go to novels when I want something fun to read.  I can’t ever put them down and usually end up reading the book until 2 or 3 in the morning because I need to know how it ends. Running a little behind, usually I have the newest book read within days of it coming out, but it’s done. Prodigal Son is a little different from most of her books, without giving the story away, this one is a really great book.  We all have become
